CRASIQ is part of Professor Marie-Claude Tremblay’s team (regular researcher at VITAM) and we are looking for a research professional to work on our research projects. In partnership with various actors, groups and organizations, Dr. Tremblay’s research aims to improve the cultural safety of care for Indigenous populations and to fight against the stigmatization that these populations experience in the health care system. The research program includes various projects that focus on decolonizing, participatory and community-based approaches to research, as well as patient engagement in health care, research and teaching.

For example, the project “Addressing stigmatization of Indigenous patients: Co-developing structural and educational strategies through a nuanced understanding of cultural risk in the Quebec healthcare system” aims to generate knowledge about the stigmatization of Indigenous patients by health care professionals in order to develop educational and structural strategies to counter racism and stigma in health care.

Applications must be submitted by October 7, 2022 at MIDNIGHT!
